Offshore pilot in the North Sea and the Baltic Sea
With Swiss Helicopter AG, I had access throughout my entire professional pilot training to a competent flight school as well as an operational company with extensive experience in various sectors of helicopter aviation.
After an initial period gaining experience in the USA, I was able to benefit from the wealth of experience of my colleagues within Swiss Helicopter AG while working as an employed pilot and flight instructor for several years. At the same time, I was able to share my own knowledge and experiences with numerous students at all levels of training.
After a temporary assignment as a pilot for transport, rescue, and VIP flights in the Himalayan state of Bhutan, I am now working as an offshore pilot in the North Sea and Baltic Sea. Working in a multi-crew cockpit on a complex helicopter (AW139), with regular instrument flight rules (IFR) operations, offers me an expansion of my flying horizons that would hardly have been possible within Switzerland.
